Now is not the time to start slacking!

I know you may be feeling exhausted by now and bored of this "healthy" living routine. Don't forget that there is nothing wrong with rewarding yourself with a cheat meal! I remember struggling in the beginning with my cravings. Every time I felt hungry I would crave a bag of chips or an ice cream cone. These cravings are caused by the regions of the brain that are responsible for memory, pleasure, and reward. Also, an imbalance of hormones, such as leptin and serotonin can cause food cravings. Don't worry, it gets easier! Healthy meals filled with protein will keep you feeling full until your next meal. You can also have a healthy snack every 2 hours if you're getting those cravings. Trick your mind into craving an apple rather than apple pie!


This is a great home workout to start off your day!

- 10 jumping jacks

- 10 squats

- 10 calf raises

- 10 side reaches

- 10 lunges

- 10 jumping jacks

- 10 squats


Just like that! This might seem easy but trust me it really gets your heart rate up! Try repeating this twice, and if you're feeling really motivated do it three times. Let me know how it was for you, too easy? Too difficult? Also, how are you handling your cravings?
